KEEPING COOL IN STYLE

HOW WE REGULATE TEMPERATURE  IN OUR GLASSHOUSES

At Glasshouses of Italy, we believe that beauty should never come at the cost of comfort. While our elegant glass structures offer a unique and unforgettable backdrop for events across Italy, we also understand that the Italian sun can be intense—especially during the warmer months. That’s why we’ve taken careful steps to ensure our glasshouses remain as cool and comfortable as they are stunning.

HERE ARE THREE SMART SOLUTIONS WE USE TO KEEP TEMPERATURES JUST RIGHT

1 • SHADE COVERS DURING SET-UP

To prevent heat build-up during the crucial set-up phase, we cover each glasshouse with a specially designed shade cover. This temporary layer helps to block direct sunlight, keeping the interior cool and ensuring that florists, stylists, caterers and all vendors can work comfortably.

Just before the event begins, the shade is removed—revealing the glasshouse in all its glory, perfectly prepped and climate-ready.

2 • AIR CONDITIONING UNITS

For added climate control, we can discreetly install high-performance air conditioning units inside the structure.

These units are particularly useful during midsummer events or in locations where temperatures climb quickly.

Our units are selected not just for their power but for their quiet operation and aesthetic discretion—so guests stay cool without distraction.

3 • OPEN-SIDED VENTILATION

Thanks to a clever design, all four sides of our glasshouses can be opened to allow free airflow throughout the structure. This natural ventilation method is often all that's needed in the early evening, when the breeze picks up and the ambient temperature begins to drop—perfect for receptions, dinners, or sunset ceremonies.

With these flexible options, our glasshouses remain a comfortable, adaptable, and magical venue choice—whatever the weather. At Glasshouses of Italy, we combine elegance with intelligent design to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
